Could you imagine yourself in a boxing ring fighting with an opponent whom you cannot see, who has 6000 yrs experience in fighting more than you, who moves with the speed of a lighting, who is very strong…?

This might seem to be an exaggeration; however, I would like to notify you that this is the kind of battle we are fighting as Christians.

The Bible says, “For we are not wrestling against flesh and blood but against principalities and rulers of this world.” Friends, we are not the only occupants of this earth.

We are here with evil forces in the form of bad angels – none of their powers were taken from them.

These angels are spirit, can transform themselves into different forms, moves with a speed of lighting, and know everything that happen on earth, are strong and mighty and are uncountable. We are in battle.

The Bible says, ”Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.”

Rev. 12:12. So, we need to arm ourselves. What is our armor, then? In Eph. 6: 13-18, the Bible outlines the armor we have to put on – truth, righteousness, readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, faith, salvation and the word of God.

Prayer is to accompany all these weapons. So, if you don’t pray, be very careful.

If you are liar, the devil will overcome you and so forth. Fortunately, God’s angels are more than bad angels.

May you never be overcome by the devil in Jesus’ name?
