Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has left his role as coach of Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko.
According to reports, the former WAFA trainer who is currently with the Black Galaxies preparing for their CHAN qualifier against Benin announced his decision to leave the club on Wednesday, July 20 during a meeting with the board.
Coach Ogum was appointed prior to the start of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League and successfully won the league title for the club.
He amassed 67 points from 34 games as the Porcupine Warriors beat Medeama to the league title.
Many followers of the club who have been shocked by the news, are hoping management persuades coach Ogum to rescind his decision ahead of their participation in the CAF Champions League.
