LITTLE MISTAKES

One of the dreadful and painful aspects of our human life is the devastating effects that human beings experience due to little mistakes.

Many students have failed several exams due to little mistakes they did.

Thousands of students worldwide are struggling through education due to their fruitless efforts in trying to avoid little mistakes in subjects such as Accounting, Mathematics, and Chemistry etc.

Haven’t you heard of people who have died due to little mistakes doctors and nurses did in prescribing drugs for them? You will bear me out that the number of people who have died through accidents in cars, ships, airplanes etc due to little mistakes by drivers or pedestrians is very devastating.

Not to even talk of the numerous fire outbreaks which have been caused by little mistakes? A lot of human beings have died foolishly due to this little mistake.

Some die while swimming in a pool, some die in motor accident.

So, dear friend let’s us be careful of little mistakes.

There is a serious one that we have to be vigilant.

I would like to inform you that there is one little mistake which will be very painful to face its consequences; and that is the mistake that can prevent you from entering the kingdom of God.

A slight drifting away from obeying God can lead you to an eternal destruction in hell fire.

In Rev. 14:12, the bible says, “Here is the patience of the saints, here are those who keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus Christ.”

A little fornication, murder, anger, theft, gossip, “impurity and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions” etc. can make you lose the precious salvation Jesus has toiled for it.

The solution then is to surrender all to Jesus and let him take charge over your life.

Let him be the master pilot over your life by communicating with him daily.

How do we communicate with Jesus? It is praying to him without ceasing, reading and meditating upon his word and having fellowship with fellow believers. .
