The much anticipated Ghana Juvenile League popularly know as “Colts League”, which involves Football Clubs and Academies across the country to battle for the Ultimate Glory, was duely lunched last month. Paving the way for the players under 13,15 and 17 years to battle for the crown.
Speaking with Jeremy Anderson Tito, in an interview during Revival Power Sports program, on Revival 99.3 Fm in Tadzewu, Volta Region, Mr. Mensah Conzy Agbavor, the Welfare Officer of the Ghana Black STARLET’S opined that, the league will promote the “Bring Back the Love” agenda by the Ghana Football Association, GFA.
According to the Member of the Juvenile Committee of the GFA, majority of the Ghanaian population enjoy watching the young ones play the most popular game in the country hence, the love for the Football by Fans in Ghana will increase dramatically which will translate into the National team.
” Ghanaians enjoying watching the children in their various communities to lock horns with each other on the field and struggle it out their own way as parents, families, peers and the community gather to cheer their children to victory”.
” the bigger picture I see ahead is, it will generate the love for football once more in the country and the various National teams will benefit tremendously from the aftermath”.
The prolific football administrator also use the opportunity to advise the young ones that will participate in the tournament to be serious and work hard to secure a place in the Black STARLET’S.
The Juvenile League which will commence this weekend across the country will be played in every district and the winners which will emerge will engage in the national glory with a support from the GFA and the Government.
