The Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Honourable Efo Kofi Dzamesi Ahiave, porpularly known in Ketu North Municipality and in politics as “Efo Dɔwɔla”, has delivered on his promise to three communities in the Ketu North Constituency namely Horvie, Torvie and Agordeke by building new classroom blocks for these communities.

The Minister who is also the Parliamentary candidate for the ruling government, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), gave the promise during the 2016 campaign period and still fulfill his promises to the people despite he not getting the nod to enter Parliament.

Addressing the gatherings at the commissioning celebration organized by the three communities in their various school play grounds, the Minister opined that, he is not a lie and always do what he says.

“I am not a lie. I don’t deceive people but people rather deceive me and I am telling you today that they are deceiving themselves” were the words of the Minister.

The Municipal Director of Education Madam Mercy Asiagbor expressed her gratitude to the Minister and the MCE Mr. Anthony Avorgbedor a.k.a Ablorde their contribution towards education in the Municipality and also edge the people to send their children to attend the schools.

The chiefs together with their subjects pledge to take good care of the classroom blocks to prolong their life span and they also requested the Minister to remember them in other aspects of development.
