The duty of the Attorney-General’s Department mainly is to represent the state in legal proceedings by prosecuting persons charged with a crime and advising government departments on legal matters.

But complaints from the general public suggest some criminal elements within the Attorney-General’s Department are perverting the course of justice by taking bribes to free crime suspects from facing punishment.

The EIB Network’s investigative journalist, Edward Adeti, uncovers some findings which are consistent with public allegations about corruption at the Attorney-General’s Department.
