Samuel Nuamah Donkor, a former health minister in the J J Rawlings administration has died at the age of 63, officials have confirmed.
Nuamah Donkor was born on 5 September 1958.
The former MP for Kumbungu Ras Mubarak confirmed his death on Facebook.
“A man so passionate about his country. So humble in public service. Rest In Perfect Peace Dr. Nuamah Donkoh,” Mubarak posted on Facebook.
The late Nuamah Donkor also served as the Ashanti regional minister and a managing director of the State Transport Company (STC).
Donkor left behind a wife, Irene Nuamah Donkor and five children.
