Ten communities in the Ketu North Municipal Assembly in the Volta Region will be benefiting from mechanised modern Boreholes which will be dag in various points in these communities.
Cutting the sod for work to begin, Hon. Kofi Dzamesi Ahiave porpularly known as “Efo Dɔwɔla” together with the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Anthony Avorgbedor jointly break the ground for the commencement of the water project.
The beneficiary communities include Torkpo, Netsikope, ICCES – Kave, Klayekope, Bokorgakope, Ative CHPS compound, Torkanu-Kporhia, Dunyokope, Teyikope and Maphlix Farms.
Addressing the people, the Minister point it out that the source of finance for the project is from the 1 million dollar per constituency and will draw GHC 600,300.00 and also ask the contractor Domkof Company Ltd to finish the work in time.
Torgbui Agbozo Kutu lll, Dufia of Torkpo thanked the Minister and his entourage for the kind gesture and entreat his people to send him to Parliament for more development in the Ketu North Constituency.
